A family AFFAIR

Paige, Roland, & Robin 2008

Beloved Bodacious founder and our Dad, Roland Lindsey, is no longer with us, but we hope to make him proud as we carry out his barbecue dreams.

Robin and Paige were both born into the business and were toted around from location to location as Roland built franchises. In fact, Paige worked at the Gladewater location in high school and her first summer home from Baylor.

It will be good to be back and look for 3rd generation of Lindsey's with Jordan & Paige's youngest making guest appearances.

Come see the whole crew: Jordan, Robin, Paige & Robin's boy, Adam!

Legend of the Mel-Man

Okay, so, yes, this is the home of the Mel-Man sandwich, named after our long time Gladewater manager, Mel Garcia.

There are several versions of this story, but Texas Monthly BBQ editor, Daniel Vaughn tells the best story in his article

Mel served our corporation for 35 years and was so glad to retire after Roland's passing this Fall. While we will miss seeing him daily, we sure hope he makes guest appearances and keeps us smiling and laughing with his play on words. Thank you for your hard work over the years and may your legend live on!
